Andréa Worden

Andréa Worden (@tingdc) is a lawyer, human rights advocate, and educator whose current work focuses on China and the UN human rights system. She previously served as General Counsel of the Congressional-Executive Commission on China (CECC) and Advocacy Director for the International Campaign for Tibet. Earlier in her career, she practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP and the Department of Justice. She’s written extensively on China and human rights, and has taught courses on the Chinese legal system, and, since 2018, has been the William S. Reinsch Practitioner-Instructor in East Asian Studies at Johns Hopkins Krieger School of Arts & Sciences.
