Helen White (@hebwhite) is a counsel at Protect Democracy on the elections and voting rights team. In that capacity, she leads Protect Democracy’s work on the independent state legislature theory. Before joining Protect Democracy, she was an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP focused on Supreme Court and appellate litigation. She clerked for the Honorable David J. Barron of the First Circuit and the Honorable Randolph D. Moss of the District Court for the District of Columbia.
