Katey Van Dam
Katey van Dam was a United States Marine attack helicopter pilot and combat veteran. She has deployed in support of combat operations in Afghanistan and counter-piracy operations in the Horn of Africa/Gulf of Aden. She was an instructor and Staff Platoon Commander at The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. She is a fellow of the Truman National Security Project and an alumna of the Center for New American Security’s Next Generation National Security Leaders. A Graduate of the US Naval Academy, she is currently a first year MA student at John Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She is also the Director of Strategy for No Exceptions, a non-partisan initiative that aims to ensure Americans are protected by the best- no exceptions.
