Marika Tsolakis (@MzTsolakis) is a Senior Researcher at the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack. She is the lead author of Education Under Attack 2020, a global study tracking attacks on education in situations of armed conflict and insecurity. She has previously conducted research on education and child protection issues in Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Senegal, and Brazil and holds a PhD in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education, University College London.
