Jim Townsend (@JimTownsend) is director of the Levin Center at Wayne Law, established to honor the oversight legacy of Senator Carl Levin. Jim has also served as a congressional staffer and Michigan state legislator. Elise Bean is director of the Levin Center’s Washington Office. Before that, for nearly 30 years, she worked as an investigator for Senator Levin.
