Albert Torres (LinkedIn) serves as Senior Program Manager of Global Policy at the George W. Bush Institute. In this role, he works on issues involving corruption & kleptocracy – global issues that involve illicit financial practices and corruption in the public sector, anti-money laundering, and economic statecraft.

Before joining the Bush Center, he worked at Raymond James in the Anti-Money Laundering department with the investigative team, as well as the Operations & Strategy compliance division. He began his career in finance, working at a boutique bank in Miami. Albert holds a master’s degree in global affairs and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida International University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
