Anne Tindall

Anne Tindall (@anne_tindall) is Counsel at Protect Democracy. She previously served as Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Oversight at the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, representing the agency in federal court and before Congress and other oversight bodies. Prior to joining the Consumer Bureau, she was in private practice representing clients in congressional investigations and in district and appellate court litigation. Anne also was Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce under then-Chairman Henry Waxman and conducted oversight of the healthcare, energy, communications, and auto industries. She clerked for the Honorable Stephanie K. Seymour of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and is a graduate of The University of Texas School of Law and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also on LinkedIn.
