Heather Szilagyi

Heather Szilagyi (@HJSzilagyi) is a Student Staff Editor at Just Security and a second-year law student at New York University School of Law. She is currently a member of NYU’s Global Justice Clinic and a staff editor for the Review of Law and Social Change. During law school, she has interned for Reprieve-UK and the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice. She will be a litigation intern at the Washington, D.C. office of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund this summer. Prior to law school, Heather spent four years at the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) where she focused on issues of electoral integrity around the world. While at IFES, Heather co-authored “America in Comparative Perspective,” a book chapter examining unique aspects of American elections and comparing them to global standards for credible elections. She holds a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
