Pace Schwarz

Pace Schwarz is a Program Assistant and Rapporteur for the International Disability, Peace, and Security Network (IDPSN) based in Washington, D.C. where he undertakes policy advocacy, program administration and research. He represented the IDPSN at two U.N. meetings in New York where he lobbied States and civil society for greater disability inclusion in the process to develop an international treaty on crimes against humanity.  A historian by training, Pace has experience reading and writing on the nexus of international politics, labor history, and environmental justice. He has served as a worker rights intern at the Washington Lawyers’ Guild, a research/administrative intern for the Kalmanovitz Initiative for Labor and the Working Poor, and a research fellow for Georgetown University’s 2023 Kalorama Fellowship Program. In addition to his work for the IDPSC, he also serves as a Field Manager and Lobbyist for Environment America. He is a graduate of Georgetown University where he studied history and was awarded his degree cum laude. He is also on LinkedIn.
