Nushin Sarkarati (@NushinSarkarati) is the Deputy Director of the Strategic Litigation Project at the Atlantic Council, working on building pathways to accountability for victims of atrocity crimes. Prior to this, Sarkarati was an associate director at Human Rights Watch’s International Justice Program, and a senior staff attorney at the Center for Justice and Accountability where she represented survivors of serious violations of international law in pursuing justice through universal jurisdiction.
