Max Sarinsky

Max Sarinsky (LinkedIn – X) is the Regulatory Policy Director at the Institute for Policy Integrity, a non-partisan think tank housed at New York University School of Law dedicated to improving the quality of governmental decisionmaking. Since joining Policy Integrity in 2019, Max has testified before Congress on the climate impacts of the oil and gas leasing program, submitted amicus briefs in the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal courts of appeals, and published articles in the Yale Journal on Regulation, Harvard Environmental Law Review Online, New York Times, Science, and elsewhere. He also teaches the Regulatory Policy Clinic at NYU School of Law. From May 2024 to January 2025, Max served as a senior advisor in the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the White House Office of Management and Budget, where he worked on a wide range of regulatory matters.
