Sarah Yager (@HolewinskiSarah) is Washington director at Human Rights Watch. Sarah was the first senior advisor on human rights in the Chairman’s Office at The Joint Staff and for nearly a decade led the Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC), where she serves on the board.  She teaches national security at Georgetown University and Arizona State University.
