Robbie Stern
Robbie Stern (@robbieguystern) is an associate news editor at Just Security and Senior Legal Fellow at JUSTICE, a law reform and human rights organization based in the UK. He is in receipt of the David Karmel European Scholarship from Gray’s Inn.
Robbie holds a double first-class degree in English from the University of Cambridge and a first-class, accelerated LLB from Queen Mary University of London. At Queen Mary, Robbie gave legal advice to victims of revenge pornography as part of the University’s award-winning SPITE project, and served as assistant editor of the QM Human Rights Law Review.
Prior to working for JUSTICE and Just Security, Robbie assisted Nigel Lambert QC defend in a major criminal fraud trial. He has interned at legal action charity Reprieve and in the complex litigation division of the immigration law firm Gherson. He also represents appellants pro bono in the English & Welsh Social Entitlement Chamber.
Away from law, Robbie works as a professional musician.
