Kal Raustiala (LinkedIn) is the Promise Distinguished Professor of Comparative and International Law at UCLA and Director of the UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations. A past Vice President of the American Society of International Law, his new book, The Absolutely Indispensable Man: Ralph Bunche, the United Nations, and the Fight to End Empire, is out this month from Oxford.
