Chris Purdy (@itsapurdy) is the Founder and CEO of The Chamberlain Network, an organization that mobilizes veterans for democracy protection. Previously, he was the Director of Veterans for American Ideals at Human Rights First, where he organized veterans in defense of human rights issues. His work focuses on engaging veterans in addressing critical human rights issues, including support for Afghan interpreters and countering anti-democratic movements. He is also a Defense Fellow in the Truman National Security Project.

Christ served eight years as a Combat Engineer in the Army National Guard, deploying in Iraq in 2011 as part of a convoy escort team. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the State University of New York College at Fredonia, a Masters of Education, Inclusive Education from Nazareth College of Rochester, and a Masters in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin.
