Konstantin F. Pilz (Bluesky – LinkedIn – Website – X) is a research assistant at RAND. His research focuses on compute and the impact it has on AI development and deployment. Most recently, he investigated the power requirements of exponentially growing data center demand and the policy implications of AI efficiency improvements. Konstantin holds a B.S. in Biology and is a candidate for an M.A. in Security Studies at Georgetown University.
