Emilia Pierce
Emilia Pierce (@Emilia_Pierce_) is in her last year at Georgetown Law School where her studies have focused primarily on international law, national security, and human rights law. She is a member of the Global Law Scholars program and has been an extern at both the Department of State and Department of Justice, and a law fellow at Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC).
Emilia received her undergraduate degree in Applied Economics and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Before law school, she worked with grassroots nonprofits in Uganda and Nigeria on issues related to post-conflict reconstruction, human rights, and violence against women before spending two years in Kuwait and Afghanistan with the USO. Emilia lives in Virginia with her husband, three children, dogs, and extensive coffee mug collection.
