John Pendleton

John H. Pendleton serves as a Nonresident Scholar in the Technology and International Affairs Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Prior to joining Carnegie, he served almost 35 years at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). He has testified before Congress multiple times and authored more than 100 reports on a wide range of prominent issues. John’s work has been cited in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, and Time, and he has been interviewed on NPR’s All Things Considered and Here and Now as well as appearing in several other print, radio, and TV outlets. John is also on LinkedIn.
