Inès Osman
Inès Osman (@Ines_Osman) is a French-Algerian human rights lawyer. She is the director of MENA Rights Group, a legal advocacy NGO based in Geneva that strives to promote and protect universal human rights and freedoms in the Middle East and North Africa through litigation and monitoring. She and her team provide legal counselling to victims of abuses and lobby for legal and policy reform in the MENA region.
Previously, Inès worked with the Alkarama Foundation in Geneva, where she coordinated the organisation’s legal department and led the work and strategy on Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.
Inès received her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Geneva. During her studies, she spent a year studying at the National University of Singapore. After this, she obtained an LL.M. in Public International Law from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands.
