Ian Moss is Special Counsel at Jenner & Block LLP. He previously served as Deputy Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the State Department. Prior to that, he was an attorney with the Department of Defense, Military Commissions Defense Organization, and a member of Majid Khan’s military commission defense team. He previously served at the Department of State as the Chief of Staff to the Special Envoy for Guantanamo Closure, and as the Director for Human Rights and National Security Issues at the National Security Council. Ian is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Spanish and Albanian cryptologic linguist. He is also on LinkedIn.
