Andrew Moore

Born and raised in and around Detroit, Michigan, Andrew Moore is a political officer at the Palestinian Affairs Unit in the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. A career diplomat, Andrew served as a consular officer at the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and led the Political and Economic Section at the U.S. Consulate in Melbourne. As a Special Assistant in the State Department’s Executive Secretariat, Andrew traveled the world supporting then-Secretary of State John Kerry. His first assignment was as Australia and Pacific Regional Affairs Desk Officer in Washington D.C. He has also worked for Google X, Debevoise & Plimpton, and McKinsey & Company.
Andrew received a J.D. from Stanford Law School, an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and an A.B. from Harvard College. At Stanford, he earned a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation, was a Public Interest Fellow, and was a member of the International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Legal Clinic.
