Kate Mather
Kate Mather (@KateMather) is a student at the University of California’s Berkeley School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Mather was a journalist at the Los Angeles Times, where she wrote extensively about the Los Angeles Police Department, crime, and breaking news. She was part of the team of reporters that was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the 2015 terrorist attack in San Bernardino, as well as the team that was a Pulitzer finalist for its reporting on a deadly 2014 rampage in Isla Vista, California. Mather is a native of Lawrence, Kansas, and graduated from the University of Southern California.
