Udit Mahalingam

Udit Mahalingam (@UGMahalingam) is is a Visiting Lecturer at City Law School, and a Legal Fellow at International Lawyers Project, a non-profit organization that provides pro bono assistance to civil society in the pursuit of economic justice. Prior to commencing these roles, he worked for several legal charities and third sector organisations, assisting with strategic litigation and advocacy in areas including international human rights and police law. Udit also served as a contributing writer and news editor at The Justice Gap, an online publication about the law and access to justice, and was a subeditor of the volume Murder, Wrongful Conviction and the Law: An International Comparative Analysis (Routledge, 2023). He has a strong interest in human rights in the context of national security and law enforcement operations.
