Michael Kans

Michael Kans (@Michael_Kans ‏) is a solo practitioner who focuses on technology law, policy, and politics in the U.S. and elsewhere, and he writes a subscription newsletter, The Wavelength, on these issues. Michael was a Principal at Williams & Jensen with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, transportation, defense, appropriations and healthcare issues. Prior to joining Williams and Jensen, Mr. Kans worked for Representative Charles A. Gonzalez (D-TX) and handled press and issues pertaining to tax, budget and the judiciary. Mr. Kans graduated from American University’s Washington College of Law in 2008 and from the University of Texas in San Antonio summa cum laude with a B.A. in English. Mr. Kans is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
