Pete Jeydel is a senior associate at Steptoe.  His practice focuses on US export controls and economic sanctions, among other international regulatory issues.  Pete has represented clients in a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, technology, cybersecurity, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, agriculture, oil and gas, metals and mining, tourism/hospitality, real estate development, and non-profit. He focuses on issues related to Russia, China, Venezuela, Iran, North Korea, and Cuba. Prior to joining Steptoe, Pete worked on Central Asia policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
