Dean Jackson is the principal of Public Circle, LLC, a research consultancy specializing in democracy, technology, and media. He is also a non-resident fellow at American University’s Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology, and he has previously held fellowships with Tech Policy Press and the Propaganda Research Lab at UT Austin. In 2022, Mr. Jackson was an investigative analyst with the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. He has more than ten years of experience in think tanks, including two at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and eight at the National Endowment for Democracy.
