Lisa Homel

Lisa Homel (@LisaHomel) is an associate director of the Atlantic Council’s Europe Center where she supports the center’s work on the Western Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe, European security, France, and the EU.

Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, she was affiliated with Atlantic Forum as the director of the USA Chapter and the program officer responsible for the NATO Centres of Excellence Engagement Initiative.

She also worked for three years as a consultant for companies in New York City, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia.

Before her consultancy work, Lisa was a trainee at the European Parliament, a research intern for the Hudson Institute, an intern with the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, and a Spring fellow at the Oxford Consortium for Human Rights.

Homel is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she received degrees with honors in international studies and international politics with an emphasis in Russian and a minor in European history. She is also on LinkedIn.
