Mark Hetfield

Mark Hetfield (@markjhetfield) is President and CEO of HIAS, the global Jewish organization for refugees.  He has a BSFS and JD from Georgetown, and has held a number of positions in the refugee and immigration field at a private law firm, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service and the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, where he led a Congressionally authorized comprehensive study on the impact of expedited removal on asylum seekers.
