Liz Hempowicz (@lizhempowicz)  is the Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs at the Project On Government Oversight. She develops and advances public policies to combat corruption and to promote openness and accountability in government. She has testified before Congress several times and has been cited in various news outlets, including CNBC, the Associated Press, Fox News, NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post, WNYC’s “On the Media,” and Politico. She is a 2022 Senior Practitioner Fellow at the Center for Effective Government (CEG) at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. She is also on LinkedIn.
