Kia Hamadanchy is a senior federal policy counsel at the ACLU. Prior to joining the ACLU, Kia worked at the P Street Project and the Congressional Progressive Caucus Center. He has also served as an oversight counsel on the House Education and Labor Committee, and as a staff member in the US Senate under Senator Tom Harkin and Senator Sherrod Brown. He received his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Michigan. He is also on LinkedIn.
