Isabel Gensler

Isabel Gensler is a J.D. candidate at Yale Law School, where she is Co-President of the American Constitution Society, Vice President of the National Security Group, and Herbert J. Hansell Student Fellow of the Center for Global Legal Challenges. As part of the Veterans Legal Services Clinic, Isabel represents veterans who suffered from toxic exposures in litigation and advocacy. Isabel is also a Policy & Features Editor of the Yale Law & Policy Review and alum of the Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy at the Jackson School.

Isabel spent last summer at the White House National Economic Council working on global energy and supply chain issues. Before law school, Isabel worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm in San Diego, CA and volunteered with the Afghan Evacuation Coalition to provide immigration and humanitarian assistance in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. Prior to that, Isabel spent two years as an Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank in New York, NY working on cross-border strategic transactions. She graduated magna cum laude and with honors from Brown University in 2019 with a B.A. in Political Science, where her studies focused on the comparative politics of former Soviet states.
