Laurel E. Fletcher (@LaurelEFletcher) is Clinical Professor of Law at UC Berkeley, School of Law where she co-directs the International Human Rights Law Clinic and the Miller Institute for Global Challenges and the Law. Fletcher’s recent publications include, “Let’s Talk about the Boteros: Law, Memory and the Torture Memos at Berkeley Law,” and “How Power Dynamics Influence the ‘North-South’ Gap in Transitional Justice.” She works in the areas of human rights, humanitarian law, international criminal justice, and transitional justice practicing in international tribunals, working with U.N. Special Procedures, and conducting research and policy advocacy.
