Adam Fivenson (@afivenson) is Senior Program Officer for Information Space Integrity at the National Endowment for Democracy’s International Forum for Democratic Studies, where he conducts research on the integrity in the information space and countering authoritarian information activities, with a focus on the critical role of civil society. Prior to joining the Forum, Adam advised political figures, governments, international non-profits and civil society organizations on communication, technology and data strategy; led the design of award-winning transparency and accountability tools for local governments in Latin America and Central Asia; and conducted original research on the impact of new technologies on societies across four continents.
He holds an MS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, a BA from the University of Michigan and lives in Washington, DC with his partner and two children. He is also on LinkedIn.
