Maya Fernandez-Powell (@mayafp3) is Human Rights Investigations Researcher at Human Rights First. Her research and advocacy focus on the targeting of human rights defenders and civil society in repressive regimes. She is an expert on the far-right in Europe and before joining Human Rights First, she worked as a research fellow at the BMW Center for German and European Studies at Georgetown University. She received her B.S. in Foreign Service and her M.P.S. in Applied Intelligence from Georgetown University. She is also on LinkedIn.
