Steven Feldstein

Steven Feldstein (@SteveJFeldstein) is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Democracy, Conflict and Governance Program. He previously was the holder of the Frank and Bethine Church Chair of Public Affairs at Boise State University. From 2014 to 2017, he served as U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor. He has a forthcoming book on the global rise of digital repression.
