Emily Ray
Emily Ray is a Legal Fellow at Partners in Justice International (PJI), where she supports PJI’s work increasing access to justice for survivors of atrocity crimes in their home jurisdictions. Building from an initiative started during her time as a student attorney in the Harvard Law School (HLS) International Human Rights Clinic, Emily has focused on accountability for grave crimes in Myanmar, working to strengthen the networks between civil society and international judicial mechanisms to enhance the justice process and protect the legal interests of vulnerable parties.
Emily earned her J.D. from HLS in 2021 and her master’s degree in Moral, Political, and Legal Philosophy from the University of St. Andrews, where she wrote on how to conceptualize individual responsibility for structural human rights violations. Follow her on Twitter @Emily_Ray_Esq.
