Maj. Gen. (ret.) Dan Efrony (@DanEfrony) is an associate researcher in the Cyber Law Program of the Federmann Cyber Security Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In his research, Dan has been focusing on States’ responsibility and accountability in cyberspace.
Dan is the former Military Advocate General (MAG) of the Israel Defense Forces. He retired in 2016 after four decades of military career divided into two main stages, first as an Intelligence officer in various commanding positions, the second, within the M.A.G. Corps. Dan’s legal military career spanned several senior positions, including Deputy to the Chief Military Prosecutor, Military Advocate of the Northern Command, Chief Defense Counsel, Deputy to the MAG and the MAG.
