Dov Jacobs

Dov Jacobs (@dovjacobs) is an Assistant Professor in International Law at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at Leiden University, where he teaches International Criminal Law, Public International Law and peacebuilding and transitional justice. He is also a member of the Defense team of Laurent Gbagbo at the International Criminal Court.

Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Amsterdam, as a founding member of the Shares Project on Shared Responsibility in International Law.

He is currently a member of the editorial board of the Leiden Journal of International Law and the former editor-in-chief of the European Journal of Legal Studies. He has published extensively in the field of international law and international criminal law. He is also the editor of a blog, Spreading the Jam, where he comments on these issues.
