Juliana (@julianascrv) is an Isaac Newton Trust Academic Career Development Fellow in Gender Studies and Human, Social and Political Sciences. She is affiliated with the University of Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies and Downing College.
Juliana concluded her doctoral degree summa cum laude in International Law with a minor in International Relations/Political Science at the Geneva Graduate Institute in 2023, where her doctoral thesis was awarded a special commendation from the jury. Previously, she concluded an LLM cum laude in Law and Politics of International Security at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2018 and a Bachelor of Laws at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte in 2016.
Her research works at the intersection of international law, international relations, feminist studies, and decolonial theory. She has published works in leading academic journals such as the Leiden Journal of International Law, the London Review of International Law, and the Australian Feminist Law Journal.
