Federica D’Alessandra (@FDalessandra) is the Deputy Director of the University of Oxford’s Institute for Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict (ELAC), and the Director of the Programme on International Peace and Security at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Prior to joining the University of Oxford, she held appointments at Harvard University’s Law School and Kennedy School of Government, including a Fellowship at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy. In 2024, she was named Global Innovation Fellow by the British Academy. She is now in residence with the Global Order and Institutions Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
