Amichai Cohen

Professor Amichai Cohen (@amichaic) is a member of the Faculty of Law at the Ono Academic College, Israel. He is also a senior fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute, where he is the director of the Amnon Lipkin-Shahak program on National Security and Democracy. Professor Cohen holds degrees from the Hebrew University (LL.B, 1998) and the Yale Law School (LL.M., 2001; J.S.D., 2003). He published widely in the areas of International Humanitarian Law, Israel’s National Security Law, and the relationship between international law and domestic law. Among his publications is Israel’s National Security Law: Political Dynamics and Historical Development. He is also on LinkedIn.
