Douglas Cantwell
Douglas Cantwell (@Doug_Cantwell) is an International Law Fellow at the American Society of International Law. He is currently on reserve status as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He previously worked for the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and as a research assistant for the Columbia Human Rights Institute.
He received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he served as Head Solicitations Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and was a member of the International Fellows Program at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). He received an M.A. from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland and a B.A. from Stanford University.
