Cristian González Cabrera

Cristian González Cabrera (@cristianfergo) is a German Chancellor Fellow at the Berlin-based European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR), where he supports all aspects of the organization’s universal jurisdiction litigation arising out of Colombia and Syria. Prior to joining ECCHR, Cristian worked at the San Francisco-based Center for Justice & Accountability (CJA) on civil human rights cases in U.S. federal courts arising out of Latin America and the Horn of Africa, and pursuant to the Alien Tort Statute and the Torture Victim Protection Act. A former Fulbright Scholar in Germany, he received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law and his Bachelor’s degree from Columbia University.
