Laura Brawley

Laura Brawley is a Just Security Student Staff Editor and a JD student at NYU School of Law, where she is also a Student Scholar at the Reiss Center on Law and Security. She is the Co-President of the American Constitution Society, 2L Leadership Co-Chair of the Women of Color Collective, and a Staff Editor on the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. Laura spent her 1L summer with the Policing Project at NYU, and during the upcoming school year, she will extern with the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, Laura spent a year working at a non-profit in Atlanta, Georgia. Laura graduated from the University of Chicago in 2019, where she studied Public Policy Studies and Norwegian Studies.
