Jürgen Bering
Jürgen Bering is an Associate at the Berlin office of Dentons Europe LLP, where he is part of the Competition practice group. He also works as the production editor for AJIL Unbound.
Before joining Dentons, Jürgen worked as an assistant editor at the University of Potsdam for the publication, “The International Criminal Court in Turbulent Times.” Prior to his work in Potsdam, he was a trainee at the German Constitutional Court and the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, a German NGO specializing on impact litigation. He was also an assistant to the Special Rapporteur on subsequent agreements and subsequent practice Georg Nolte at the International Law Commission. Before then, Jürgen held a position as junior researcher and lecturer at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.
Jürgen has studied law at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, and the University of Bergen, Norway. He holds an LL.M. from New York University.
