Mehrnusch Anssari (@MehrnuschA) is a Ph.D. candidate and a research fellow at the Institute for International Peace and Security Law at University of Cologne, Germany. She has been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School from August 2018 until January 2019.

Mehrnusch Anssari earned her LL.M. Advanced degree in Public International Law (Peace, Justice, and Development) at Leiden University, the Netherlands. Previously, she studied international law at the University of Cologne, Istanbul Bilgi University and National Law School of India University. She has completed her legal training in Germany, practicing at the German Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Vienna and at the Codification Division of the United Nations Legal Office in New York.
