Samara Angel

Samara Angel (@Samara_Angel_) is a senior research and communications assistant in the Governance Studies program at the Brookings Institution. Before her time at Brookings, she spent a year in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a Robert C. Bates postgraduate fellow conducting independent contemporary history research and writing. She has also worked in the Office of Experience Design at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and as an editorial intern for the Yale Law Journal. Samara received her B.A. cum laude in History from Yale College, where she won the History department’s award for recognition of outstanding work in American history for her senior thesis.
