Kent Roach is a Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. He is the author of The 9/11 Effect: Comparative Counter Terrorism Law published by Cambridge University Press in 2011 and the editor of Comparative Counter-Terrorism Law published by Cambridge University Press in 2015. He also served as research director (legal studies) for the Air India commission and on the research advisory committee of the Commission of Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Maher Arar. His new book Canadian Policing: Why and How it Should Change will be published later in 2022.
