Congratulations to Just Security’s Steve Vladeck, who will be joining the faculty of the University of Texas School of Law (effective 2016). Texas now has a powerhouse of national security law experts including Professors Bobby Chesney, Derek Jinks, Jennifer Laurin, Ranjana Natarajan, and Steve, plus Prof. Philip Bobbitt as Distinguished Senior Lecturer. Can you imagine the lunchtime, dinner, and hallway conversations … the benefits to visitors who workshop a paper at UT … and the benefits for students interested in this field of study? It is dizzying.
